Project Overview
Following our previous design phases for the
cerused white oak pedestal—including material
sampling, hardware planning, and the scaled
design studies—MountArt is pleased to provide this
quote for the final fabrication of the completed
pedestal.
The updated rendering set (see sculpture mock-up
and dimensional drawings) establishes the final
dimensions and aesthetic direction. This quote
includes all material procurement, solid white oak
fabrication, milling, joinery, glue-up, drum-sanding,
fine sanding, construction of the internal plywood
support box, leveling feet, complete preparation for
the finish to be applied, as well as delivery.
As with all MountArt work, fabrication will be
finished to a gallery-grade standard, emphasizing
clean grain alignment, tight joinery, and a refined
surface suitable for a significant artwork in your
collection.
Scope of Work
MountArt will fabricate a custom white oak pedestal
according to the final approved design:
Solid white oak exterior panels, and top panel
matched and milled to final thickness
Ripping, sizing, drum sanding, biscuit joinery, and
full glue-up
Construction of internal plywood support box
Comprehensive sanding and finish-prep for
consistent, museum-grade surface quality
Delivery of the completed pedestal to the residence
at Cove Way
Work is based directly on the final renderings and
the design documents included in the earlier phases
of the project.
